Thangles come in flat packages.  The paper strips are all precut and ready to go inside a ziplock bag.  Step by step illustrated instruction sheet in each package.  Usually one package will make a typical full sized quilt or 4 baby quilts.  This is a general rule, as the number of packs you will need depends on how many half square triangles are in the quilt.  The chart below will give you the exact amount of half square triangles made by each pack size.  One pack makes 1000 half square triangles for 1" finished size squares.
