Part Number: 333300487
AMERICA FROM THE HEART
Description
By Karey Bresenhan
An exhibit
of quilts made in response to the events of September 11, 2001. It shared a message of sorrow, unity, and hope from quilts all over the world. These quilts are truly works from the heart, created in the six weeks following the terrorist attacks as an expression of the artist' immediate, agonized feelings. Houston's International Quilt Festival Served as the setting for this heart-wrenching exhibit. Images of 270 quilts with heartfelt statements form the quilters who created them. C&T Publications and Quilts, Inc. are proud to donate all profits from sales of this book to the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund. (This book does not have patterns)
Soft cover, 128 pages.
